Admissions procedure & eligibility.

Admission to the school will be determined by the principal and Administration team with the advice of the teaching staff, based on the information obtained with respect to,

  1. The potential of the applicant to benefit from the educational services available.
  2. The capacity of the school to meet the educational needs of the student.
  3. The school reserves the right to deny admission to any applicant if, in its, opinion there is reason to believe that admission would not be in the best interests of the applicant or the school.

The Procedure

  1. Admission to Aristo Public School is through Admission Test.
  2. Eligibility for admission for priority would not by itself secure admission in a School or a class if the seats are not vacant or the child is not considered suitable for the class.
  3. Admission test will be conducted by the APS on the dates to be notified by the Principal.
  4. Admission will be allowed after a student qualifies himself in the test of all subjects and submits the TC of the previous School along with the Progress Report of the last Examination passed.

Requisites

Kindergarten
  1. Birth Certificate (duly attested one photocopy).
  2. Passport size photos - 4 Nos.
  3. A child seeking admission to LKG should have completed age of 3 years on or before 30th June.
  4. The age for admission to other classes shall be reckoned accordingly. Relaxation in age is not permitted.

Frequently Asked Questions

Aristo Public School accepts student applications at any time during the academic year as long as there is seat available in that class. The admissions policy is “First come, first serve”. We are not able to guarantee a seat until all admission procedures are completed and the fee is received.

Yes, APS provides transportation from and to school. We have a fleet of buses serving most of the expatriate residential areas of the city but are generally limited to driving routes that do not exceed one hour in driving time each way. We currently have eleven school vans operating in the downtown Cuddalore area and two large School buses. Families need to walk their child(ren) to and from the nearest collecting point in the morning and after school.

Our school year must include 210 teaching days, usually beginning the First week in June and ending in April.

Students should attend school Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM. Preschool students attend either 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

APS has a uniform code. Students must wear uniform sold by our School. No substitutions are accepted. Elementary, Middle School and High School students must adhere to a standardized dress code instructed by our School. Refer the School calendar for details.

Lunch Break: 12:20 AM to 01:00 PM

Afternoon: 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM
